1. We had a productive week over here in the Noob household, which always makes me feel like a champion. The house is clean, laundry is done, and other to-dos have been checked off (for now). Somebody get this mama a martini.

2. There were some ups and downs with Great Grandpa Noob in the hospital again. But things are looking up since he’s back at home. On a happier note, the unfortunate circumstances allowed us to catch up with some family members, and even have them over for dinner.

3. Twilight DVD release is tonight @ midnight! If you happen to be in any of these cities for the DVD release parties, you may be able to meet some of the cast members! In which case, you’ll have to let me know so I can 2nd-hand brag about the orgasmic experience.

I’ll be watching my copy of Twilight this weekend. I may have to kick NB and hubby out for a few hours so I can really push our Blu-Ray player to its maximum potential.

Noob Daddy: Why does it smell like smoke in here?

Me: Um… yeah… weirdest thing, the Blu-Ray player started smoking up. I guess it’s busted or something. *as I push the Twilight DVD behind the TV with my toe*

1. It was my birthday. I am older. Alright, the older thing doesn’t really qualify as making me happy. But, I did get to celebrate…

My cousin baked a delicious red velvet cake. You know how I love cake. Key to my heart people. And, I got my very own copy of the Twilight book set. I no longer have to drool on borrow my sister’s books!

Bonus: I am getting the two-disc copy of Twilight on Blu-Ray in a few weeks! And if the director is smart, she better have filled that entire second disc with only Rob Pattinson.

Have you pre-ordered Twilight yet? DO IT. DON”T THINK. JUST DO IT.

2. More birthday celebration – Noob Daddy took me out to a swanky restaurant by the beach. It had to be shhhhwanky dahhhling because they kept pushing cocktails and Martinis on us. Ahh, date night… those are as close to endangered as snow leopards.

3. Houston, we have cruising! That is, Noob Baby is pseudo-walking around the perimeter of the house. It’s definitely an exciting milestone and so much fun to watch. I am a sucker for baby cankles!
