1. It was a wonderfully rainy week. I took the opportunity to snuggle up with some hot tea under the covers. When it finally does rain here in CA, I feel a sense of renewal and earthiness. Of course, it’s much easier to say this now that I’m no longer in a classroom with 30 stir-crazy kids waiting to bust free and dance in the rain.
2. Several times this week, Noob Daddy got off work in time to help with Noob Baby’s bathtime and even put her to bed. I’m hoping this new schedule sticks. It’s amazing how a cheery Noob at 3 pm can quickly turn into Cujo by 5 pm.
3. Last weekend, I had a chance to sleep over at my parents’ house while Bully Sister was in town. Unfortunately, our childhood dog was very sick. We weren’t sure if she was going to make it through the weekend. Well, Noob Daddy was very thoughtful and offered to take the parenting duties that night so I could stay with my family and relax, hang out, and just hug my poor dog. It was a kind gesture and reminded me how much I appreciate my hubby 🙂

Happy Friday to you as well! And it is… 3-day weekend for most of us working bees. Even extra happy happy. It’s funny how you called you sis “Bully Sister.” I always appreciate direct communication.
I love your happy friday idea; very neat! I love when it rains too. Especially at night, when it’s time for bed. I sleep soooo good. It makes me happy when my husband helps out too. He works a night shift, so he’s very tired when he gets home, but he still offers to help out some before he crashes. I hope your doggy is okay! It’s so sad when they start to get older and have problems. 🙁
