Why hallo again! I hope your holidays and New Year was fabulous. I’ve just managed to pull myself out of the quick sand that has sucked me up since December 18th (apparently, from the date of my last post).
I’d love to tell you that we took a lovely getaway to the mountains to drink lots of hot cocoa and sit by a wood burning fireplace. Unfortunately, the So Cal snow came and went without the Noobs. I’d also love to tell you that I rang in the New Year in Vegas, NY, or Paris with some sparkly champagne in hand. Unfortunately, my parents’ house does not in any way qualify as a hot spot to party on New Years.
So, let me just come out and say it. I’ll tell you what I’ve been doing for the last two weeks.
I have been watching mindless amounts of DVDs. Old DVDs, New Release DVDs, $10 DVDs from the checkout at Target, 3 for $20 Previously Viewed from Blockbuster, and everything in between. It’s been a sick, bad, downward spiral that I’m hoping has ended. It seems that by posting this updated entry on my blog, signs are good that I’ve been spit back out into the real world.
After ping-ponging between my house and my parents’ for the last few weeks, I’m so happy to be home again, no longer living out of a duffle and one ginormous diaper bag. The pile of laundry and Christmas decorations are beckoning to be put to rest, but for now… I’ll just throw up some pictures of the holidays and continue on my way to Google Robert Pattinson over and over and over again.
Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that I just saw Twilight? 🙂 I guess I may be on another hiatus for awhile…
Noob Baby was not amused with her Christmas presents, I guess.
What is this … a filthy gumball machine? Simpletons.
